Check this link ... apparantely there's two holes in the drum for metric bolts to remove the drums.

On my 2002 Tracker you have to use 2 8MM bolts and screw them into the 2 holes in the vertical surface of the drum. The bolts push on the axel and force the drum off. I can't remember if the bolts have a fine or course thread, sorry.

did they go right in? Or did you have to forces them In? because we cannot find out what thread pitch they are, we have 8mm, but don't know the thread pitch

The 8 mm bolts have a 1.25 mm thread pitch.

The same bolts used to remove the rear drum (shown here) can also be used to remove the front rotor.

hello, thank you for answering, we have tried these thread pitches and they have not worked1.25
1.50
And 1.00
They thread only a few turns each, what other threads can we try?

From the factory the drums are drilled and tapped for M8 x 1.25 bolts. It's possible someone forced a 5/16" (7.9 mm) bolt through the hole.
If that happened the correct metric bolt will no longer fit. Your options are to try a 5/16" bolt (either 18 or 24 threads per inch) or run a metric
tap through the hole and hope you can restore the threads.

Hello again, thank you so much for answering, we were able to use the 1.25, threads were probably just rusty, but thank you for answering, because it helped us get them off.
