2003 Tracker 2wd L4 2.0 base

I have a noticeable shimmy while braking at a stop light with the brakes applied. New motor mounts and tranny mounts installed. RPM seems good at about 850ish. Engine seems to be running smoothly otherwise. Shimmy goes away when driving. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Replace your warped rotors or have them turned at a machine shop.

Thanks. I will check into that.

Not sure how warped brake discs could make it shimmy when stopped......

I read this as shimmy or vibration when sitting at the stop light, not while moving. @jkrisp2025 please clarify!

If shimmy means "rough idle" then I withdraw my rotor diagnosis and replace it with this:
