Problem opening back passenger door
 

I have a very frustrating issue and hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have a 2004 Chevy Tracker which is now missing a back passenger door handle (outside). I believe my child may have engaged the child safety lock so now the door cant be opened from the inside either. What are my options for getting this fixed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you will have to access the door linkage. One option is the use of a slim jim down through the area the glass and sill seal meet. I have a lock out kit that has wedges that you slip in the sill seal to open up the gap.
Is the outer door handle gone; so you can reach the linkage through the outer handle hole in the door?

the final option would be to rip off the inner door panel to access the linkages from the inside. You would need a new door panel after that however.

PicknPull wrecking yards sell entire doors for $50. Get you new handle and trim panel there.

So the panel cant be taken off without opening the door?

if not meant to be...you will have to destroy it.
