Changing out Speedometers
 

Need some help. A friend of mine has an 05 Chevy Trailblazer and it wont light up anymore to pass inspection. I found him a used speedometer close to the miles that were on the original. Can i just take the old one out and put the new/used one in? and will it work? Or will I have to take the trailblazer to the dealership to be Vin Linked? I was told it should be able to be just plugged in and go. Any help is apprecitated!:cool:
