Bought an older Dodge and I pulled it on a trailer that weighs about 5,000 lb and it couldn't pull it so I got about 20 feet out their driveway and it started making some horrendous noises so I pulled into a gas station and it seem to do fine after I unloaded and got somebody else to pull it. Now whenever it's at a idle and makes a ticking sound and when I'm driving it goes away. Transmission shifts fine fluid looks semi ok. IDK what it could be. 05 trailblazer with 4l60

Most ticking is lifter valve related, how's the oil level?

Its from the transmission. Engine is fine. It sounds like it's coming from the body of the tranny more toward the front. Behind the firewall under hood. Level is fine on all fluids
