reduced engine power
Hello,
I have a 2021 Chevy trailblazer. I have around 29,000 miles on my car. Recently I have had the Reduced Engine Power light along with the check engine light come across the dash. This has also limited my speed to 35 mph. I have had my car into 2 different Chevy dealerships and both are saying that the car is not throwing or storing any codes for them to know what is wrong with it. However the light will go off and they come back on in a matter of weeks. The dealerships have contacted GM for help with the matter but seem to be at loss what to do. I am at loss at what to do next. Update: this is day 17 without my car. It is at the dealership and they are trying to recreate the code so that they can read it with the computer hooked up to it. They are saying that is the only way to read the code since it is not storing codes. Chevy just keeps telling me to be patient they will get the bottom of it but I am at loss. I have little communication with Chevy or the dealership as to what they are doing other than driving my car and putting miles on it to try to recreate the code. It seems that the reduced engine power light came on both times after I pulled off a gravel road unto a highway and started accelerating speed . Has anyone else ever had this problem? I need suggestion to help get my car back faster. At this rate it months before we get to the bottom of this.
