2015 traverse engine clicking sound?
 
Hello my engine is making a clicking sound under the cover any ideas what it could be?? I uploaded a video but not sure if it worked….

Likely lifters going bad or becoming loose, You will have to adjust them.

I never saw a vid, BTW.

At what RPM's is this at? It does indeed sound horrible to me.

this is at idle car in park a few minutes after starting it

It sounds to me like a valve train issue, IMHO.. .I would not drive the vehicle until the cause in found out. First thing would be to check your oil pressure. This issue could really damage your engine if it keeps up like this,

Purge Valve will make this noise when hot or getting old. $50 max and very easy to replace. One thing to test is with the cover off and it is ticking unplug the valve right in front of you by squeezing the plug and unplugging it. If ticking goes away, there's your culprit. By now you may have figured this out. Good luck!
