2015 traverse fan and thermostat
I have a 2015 Chevy Traverse with 75k miles. Today the engine light comes on and the thermostat won't work and the fan constantly stays running even after the car is off. I still should be covered under my powertran warranty but I don't know if they'll even fix it. I keep up with the maintance and it's driving fine. Please help!! |
describe the symptoms
what symptom makes you thing the thermostat is faulty...the fan running all the time? It will run all the time if the pcm detects a fault with the coolant temp sensor. find out the code and post it. |

My 2015 Traverse just started doing this as well. The engine light is on and the fan keeps running after I shut the car off. I watched my temp gauge and it never went up on the ride home from work which is about 35 to 45 minutes on interstate and main highways. I would think if it were overheating it would surely do it on the way home and show up on the thermostat. I haven't taken it in to be looked at yet. Any idea what causes this?
