2018 traverse mods

Ok, I've decided I really don't need a truck anymore and have decided a 2018 Traverse AWD LT1 is probably for me.
Although i dont seriously "off road" i do go out in the sticks here in Northern Nevada occaisionally and wonder about modifications.
Is there a way to increase ground clearance OTHER than taller tires?
any specific tire suggestions for more aggressive tires that OEM equipment from owners that have DONE it?
thanks all...

You can slip a 2.5 to three inch lift on your Traverse, without much issues, Stock shocks will likely still be OK, but you MIGHT have to change them.
