Horn wont stop honking, flashers going off
My 2020 traverse (46k miles) keeps flashing the 4 way flashers non stop and the horn honks about every 90 seconds. It started yesterday when my suv was parked at work. My coworker told me it was going off. Idk how long it had been doing that. We unhooked the battery all night, soon as it was hooked back up it started honking & flashing again. It does stop if you turn the suv on. But immediately starts flashing & honking when you turn the engine back off. I called the Chevy dealership for advice but they said they dont do that over the phone and can get me in about a week. I need it fixed before then!!

We did try a different battery. It didnt stop. Fuse box was checked, a computer was hooked up to see if it was throwing any codes. It wasnt.

I mean no offense but im in the same boat and in EVERY forum ive tried so far, the answer is always "you got to get a new battery" or your battery has to be load tested" or "you have the wrong kind of battery". It seems to be the response for almost everything. I mean even multiple other issues that people are posting ( I'm desperate so I read most any post, unrelated or not just to try and find some right direction) also need a ODBII for all 4 code families and check all grounds. After all that and new battery, alternator, sensors all OEM.. still the answer is the battery.. when i have a loose door hinge.. im gonna replace the battery.
