Loud Rattling noise inside engine bay
 

There's been a rattling noise that has become louder and louder as time passes and I currently have stopped driving the car until I can figure out what it is. I took the plastics off and got a closer look finally. I've been losing a bit of oil and seems like the leak here is visible.. Which I'm not sure what that is so any input there would be appreciated.. But also not sure if that is tied to the problem of the rattling noise. It's definitely coming from this area just not sure if it's an internal engine issue or something exterior. I haven't been driving it because I'm afraid to cause further damage. Any thoughts on what this could be and what I can do to try and narrow it down?
