2007 Model - can it use a 2006 Model DVD system

Hi everyone; we just purchased the 2007 Uplander (used to be Montana owners) and it doesn't have a DVD System. We just found a OEM 2006 Uplander DVD system - do u know if it will fit? Thanks soo much!

first of all...does your van have rails in the roof?
secondly, do you have the wiring harness that runs down to the radio?

Thanks for replying!

It has the rail system; but I do not know what the wiring harness is; so I guess I don't have it. I thought that 2007 and 2006 models were "click and play"?

sorry but if it didn't come stock, then the harnes will not be up there. also you will need to have the radio programmed to be able to play the audio through the speakers
