Can I add the Thermometer or Compass to 2008 Uplander LS?
 

Happy holidays!

We found out that the LS we just bought does not display either outside temperature or compass direction it only comes on the LT version. We can do without the compass but the wife really misses the temp. Does anyone know if it can be added? Is it just a sensor that needs to be added or does the PCM need to be reprogrammed (or replaced to the LT version)?

probably have the best luck with a new rear view mirror

yes a new mirror will take care of the compas but you will need a out side temp sensor and the harnness that goes with it. also u will need the power to the mirror it self not a hard job if you mind droping the headliner a bit.:)
