Power Steering Pump - Pressure Line Question

1 Attachment(s)
Hello - new guy here. Hoping for some help...

I have an 08 Uplander

Removing the power steering pump - made it to the pressure line that feeds in at the bottom. There are 2 bolts - I'm assuming the bottom one is the actual feed.
I have no idea what size wrench this thing takes... I have tried a multitude of sizes... no success.
Does any here know what size the bolt actually is?

Please see the image below & thanks for any help!

iirc the compression nut is either 16mm or 18mm
remove the bolts that secure the pump and pull the pump out of the valley to better access the compression nut

do not start the engine until you have filled the reservoir and turned the wheel stop to stop 10x....check the level and repeat. if you get air in the system, you will have to vacuum bleed the system.

I think tech2 means DO NOT start the engine until you have completed the procedures.

Thanks guys. I got the new one on & back together the other day.

However 1 thing went bad & the other is just a concern at the moment.

The bad: After unplugging my wiper motor to get a little more access room... it no longer wants to work when I plug it back in. The switch & all the relays work as i can hear them clicking just fine. I pulled a motor out of the local junkyard for $25 & I'll hook it up this weekend to see whats up. I don't have a voltage tester to see if power is going through the plug & wires though, so i'm hoping to avoid that dilemma.

and the concerning part - after reinstalling everything - serpentine belt as well - the van has developed a bit of a whine upon acceleration that wasn't there before. Performance doesn't seem to be affected any, nothing is rubbing & everything looks normal enough. Maybe just a settling process for the new part(s)? I don't know...

is it the ps pump making the noise...cause they will do that if air is in the system
