Rear Door/Liftgate Rattle

The new Uplander I purchased recently had a rattle in the back cargo door. I took it in for service and it was supposedly fixed but is now even worse than original. I have an appointment to take it back in a couple days. I know of one other person locally with the same problem and his is not fixed either .
Is this an ongoing thing with this model ? Does anyone here have some experience they can share about it ?

Be sure that the plastic trim piece is attached properly to the door between the top of the hatch and the roof. mine came loose and dropped down into the top cavity of the hatch opening and rattled like crazy. Good luck.

I have the same problem with my 07 Uplander. There is a plastic piece in the locking mechanism on the door where it locks to the latch. Because it is plastic it is wearing down and the door is now loose and rattles when you are driving. It is especially noticable when you hit bumps or pot holes.

After three appointments and a lot of wasted time they finally fixed it.
The problem with mine turned out to be the cable that locks the latch in between the outer steel panel and the plastic inside panel was not fastened into a clip like it was supposed to be. . It was just flopping around in there .
Should have been a no brainer for them to fix it the first time but GM got billed three times for a minor warranty problem .
