I think it would be a good idea for a MOTM contest, I won't name anyone yet, but there are some members that consistently post very useful information and it would be nice to recognize them.

Our first nominee for MOTM:

ShawnVW, for his tireless and very accurate technical posts. He has persevered in the face
of sarcasm, obnoxiousness, and downright flaming.

He makes very easy to understand answers to very difficult questions. His diagrams are the best I've ever seen, bar none. His efforts should be applauded by all here. He has certainly earned our respect the hard way.

Furthermore, we should organize his technical answers to these fora into a separate forum all it's own, a Chevy Forums Tech FAQ. This could be a keystone to putting this site on the map.

I would like to nominate 1Gary, his advice in engine and internal is always on the mark.
Besides, us old guys need to stick together.

I second ShawnVW and MDTAHOE, you too 1Gary. Its nice to have these guys as members. Sometimes its the hard truth but theres nothing wrong with that.:cool: I have learned a great deal from all of you guys reading threads & posts.

Hang on guys. Lets not go making a new contest before its thought out.
If it gets enough popular support, we will sanction it. Other sites have a Member Spotlight contest every quarter. So thats probably what we will do.
