I'm looking at a 05 Avalanche it is loaded with sun roof, heated seats, power
mirrors everything. Even nice rims.. I put a ad in want to buy on craigs
cars/trucks and this guy came right back..
This truck has 113,000 miles he wants $12,500 said his wife is on to him to
sell his toys with 2 babies on the way. Other 2 is 06 vet and a Harley..
Is this to many miles???

I do have a 2000 Z71 4W to pull my mowers and work around my place.
I does have 166,000. runs fine
Wife was just opening her jaws telling me 12k seems to much for a truck with that many miles.
I did tell her I'm the captain of this ship if I want it I got it, go do the dishes....
I like talking big on the compute, her fat azz is looking in the fridge looking for something to put in that pie hole..

How do I cipher this high mileage and tell her?

I did the CarFax and it shows the 1 owner as he said. No issues it shows we he takes it into the Dealer to get oil changed and serviced
he even did a transmission fluid flushed in 2008, Differential and Transfer serviced in 7/2010.
Looks like he took care of it..

113,000 is slightly high, but the truck isn't overpriced. Go to edmunds.com and do an appraisal. They're usually within $200.

Thanks for asking and I really like it. Truck does have a few issues which I knew about.
AR I paid $12,000 for it with 113,000 miles

1. The Air is not COLD guy told me a "switch needed to be replaced for about $275???
Bought from his wife and she said she forgot what it was.. Aint nothing on AC fixing cost less than $500.. With 85 today I got to see about it.

2. Tires, Man high dollar those are 45" 22" rim KUMHO or something like that.. It had 1 new one on. I went to Tire store to get a set. Had to order Kumho. Tire guy I knew
talked me into the tire Clear he said for the money great tire even better tread than Kumho.. STILL $170 a tire, I got 3
I'm really a little OLD 55 for these tires. I told wife I got it for the Grandson, take his friends around he can kick back watch DVD in the back. Will be our bonding time.
Wife says Honey he is 2 months old.. I told her he will be up before you know it.

3. What is this XM radio how much a month is that? Only 2 stations come on telling whats on... I like talk radio older 60 70's music I might try it. Might tune in Stern in a few times when wife not in.

I saw one with it on and it looked pretty good.
Does that look good, I all ready got the coon rims.
Does this wood trim add on look fake to people?
What you think about that.

All in all for 12K I think it was a pretty good buy, Im keeping my 2000 z71 for my farm work and mowing taking my mowers to my church to mow..

O it has some hail damage on the hood with about 10 dings. It is a dark blue and sort of hard to see. I might just let it slide. Dent Dr said $500..

Does this DVD in back show up on the Bose screen up front? Somebody told me some did or you can get it done??.

Tell me were is the Cruise control. Got so many buttons on the wheel. I was still looking for the cruise???

How about this NAV how much is a disk? I went to Best Buy guy told me I had to go to the Dealer. How much is that cost how does it work..
