Check Gages Light
I just finished reinstalling my engine in my 2002 Cavalier after having to grind my crankshaft and installing new bearings. The installation of the engine went great and I hooked up all of the sensors on the engine. The first time I started the engine it fired right up and went to 1100rpm at idle where it ran very smoothly for 30sec. Then the "Check Gages" Light came on and the engine went down to 600rpm and started to fluctuate between 600 and 800rpm. It does this every time I start engine now. I've replace my MAP Sensor and Oil Pressure Sending Unit but it still does this. Anyone have any Ideas?
