the dealer said they would look at it tomorrow so I hope to hear from them in the afternoon. dealer service writer said it sounds like the computer is bad. I will post back on the situation. I hate it when someone has a thread like this and never post back what fixed it. thanks

thanks its at the dealer now. I seen bcm's for sale on ebay cheap but you still have to have it programed to the vehicles rpo codes.

They are out of Savana vans. I'm not sure on the years. Suppose to be 2010, but I think one or both are older.

the van had a bad ECM cost $725.00 at dealer.

Yeah ouch. But even a used BCM, the programming, everything else. The cost would have been up there. They raped me $150 or $200 just to program a radio. I don't remember the cost, it was way up there.

the dealer called today. and said its not the ECM now they say its the EBCM abs computer ? and they cant get until Tuesday. also they said $185.00 cheaper than the original estimate of 725.00 I will post back what happens.

the dealer called again today and said the new EBCM abs computer was installed and everything works properly. except the scanner will still not communicate with the ECM ? they are still checking it out. will post back.
