Do you not need iridium plugs in the new ls engines like in the vortec? those 41-962's are double plats.

I have no idea. I tried to get the original plugs, but apparently they are no longer available. The 41-962 are replacements. The owners manual says nothing about what you are talking about.

This page lists both iridium and double platinum. What engine do you have?

07 2007 Chevrolet Express 2500 Spark Plug - Engine Electrical - Bosch, Champion, Denso, E3 Spark Plugs, MSD, Motorcraft, NGK - PartsGeek

The bosch ones on this page shows that you do not gap them, and the original equipment are iridium.

i would check to be sure, as the iridium are more money, and if required, may last longer......
