Hey all, 08 express 3500. I'm going to add sirius with the factory roof mount antenna. Anyone have any tips and tricks for taken the dash, windshield pillar, and interior roof panel appart? Also all the trucks I see with this its above the driver seat not center of the roof, anyone know if it there a reason for this? Thanks guys

I've mounted antennas on a number of vehicles and there's nothing special about the location. I would suggest that you put it on the rear of the vehicle (you may need an extension cable). You can get out at the taillight assembly and keep the cable under the trim to get on the roof. No drilling required.
