Default OH My Word!!! '02' Express Van 1 ton squeeling not the belt or idler

02 Express Van 1 ton, Squeels no biggy. New Edit hehe, Systemic Problem, it perhaps was the belt tensioner wearing on the belt, so replaced it, and the alternator pulley wheel was rubbing, so replaced the alternator, and while I was at it replaced the idler wheel just for good measure. Even with all 3 replaced the belt was around 1 year old and it needed a replacement but was done so under warranty. Smooth as pie now lets see if the beauty goes the distance.

My 2000 had that annoying squeal. A new belt would quiet it down for a while but seem to reoccur. What brand of belt are you using?<O</O
My 11 has almost 34k and is still quiet. I hope it stays that way. <O</O
