Default XM Satellite on a stock radio

I have a 2012 Express with a stock double-din AM/ FM radio. Is it possible to add satellite (XM) radio to it? Anyone have experience with this? I understand I need to add the hockey puck antenna (no issue there). Any input will help.
Thanks in advance!

I would use a portable xm reciever like the onyx and just plug the output wire into the aux input on the front of the head unit. Same size as a headphone jack.
