1995 Lumina ABS issue
I own a 1995 Chevy Lumina, 3.1L V6 engine and automatic transmission with 64,000 miles on it. The issue that I am having with the ABS normally occurs when braking at speeds below 15mph. At that point the traction control light comes on and the braking power is reduced. Once the car comes to a stop, the traction control light turn off and braking is normal again. I have heard that there are two sensors that control the traction control, one in the transmission and one on the axle near the brake rotor. Can someone point me in the right direction to repairing this issue.
Thank you

RE: 1995 Lumina ABS issue
You are not alone. My 02 Impala is having the same problem. One time it stored a code saying it was right front wheel speed sensor. Had it replaced a month ago and it's back with a vengence. I've heard other people say they found the problem in the wire harness. That's my next step. If you figure it out, let us know. Good luck!!

RE: 1995 Lumina ABS issue
Well, I'm thinking of just pulling the ABS fuse and living without ABS. Meineke quoted the repairs at $300+...the + meaning additional charges if they can't find the problem right away. Haha, I'm not getting suckered into that crap.
However, if there is a legitimate and somewhat simple solution, I will fix it. Any other advice here would be appreciated.
