Default I'm just a learn'n

So I have a 99 Tahoe, and right now it is out of commision.
- When I go to start it, it shakes and it dies
- It's draining the battery
- If I get lucky and keep my foot on the gas, it stays running
- Yes, I have changed the plugs and wires and has a new fuel pump
- The starter has been rebuilt
someone please help,
I love my truck! The worst thing is I still owe!
thanks

Howdy, Have you had the alternator tested. It can drain the battery and makes the pcm overcompensate
There are other issues that can cause the foot in the gas to stay running situation. But start with the alternator. Thay test the FREE at most parts stores.
