Rough Ride
Hello,
My wife has an 2000 Tahoe with 55k on it and shereally likes her ride, I have driven it a few times and noticed that it rides like a lumber wagon....!I really was taken back by the rough ride, Does anyone have a fix for this problem...? I asked the dealer and they stated that 2000 and 2001 were like that and there was not much you could do. thanks

RE: Rough Ride
I would try a soft tire like a 4 ply and run air pressure a litttle low maybe a few pounds and maybe a smaller wheel and maybe some diffrent shocks edelbrok has many diffrent types for diffrent needs

There are a lot of shocks that are adjustable so you can play with your ride (that sounds wrong[&:]) until you get it to where you like it, I have Rancho's but my truck is lifted. I think billstein makes some too.

RE: Rough Ride
well you are at the end of the life expectancy of your shocks ,i woul first try some monroe reflex shocks 'then how tired are you tire's the thinner the tred get's the harder the tire's get and they get harder with age . 1 thing at a time dont change every thing at once ,good luck .
