1968 Impala - Silly Question on Battery Going Dead
Hey Everybody,
I have a 1968 Impala (307) convertible. It has a newer alternator but the battery goes dead while driving it - the battery is not getting charged by the alternator. It's not that I am cheap and don't want to buy a new alternator, but anyway I had it tested - tested OK. Battery is new too.
If the alternator is OK, all wires are properly attached to alternator, and belt is fine - what could be causing the battery to go dead while driving the car?
Thanks!

Also - to add.....
Also, wanted to add - I replaced both battery cables and the starter is new, so those connections should be ok. Although I lost the nut that holds the front of the starter up (just have the long bolts in it).
