Default Sirius Radio Antenna

I have an '08 Impala LS company car. I am trying to install my Sirius Radio directly into the antenna line with an interupt cable. I pulled the radio out and found only the XM antenna cable. Does anyone know where the FM antenna has a standard plug anywhere? I don't want to spend the money on an XM to Sirius converter since this is a company car and I don't know what I'll wind up with next. Thank you.

The antenna at he back of the radio that you see, is not the XM antenna, it is the antenna cable for the radio.
There is an antenna connection in the passenger kick panel, but it is not a standard plug, it is accually a plastic connector.
The best way to do your install would be to buy a male and femal antenna adaptor from your local radio shop for your vehicle. It is very straight forward and not very complicated.

Is that antenna for both the XM and standard radio? I just assumed it was the XM because it looks like the Sirius connector. I will run down to Radio Shack and see what they have. Thanks for the reply.

The antenna at the back of the radio is for the radio only. The XM reciever for your car is in the trunk, that is where you'll find the wire for the xm antenna
