Default 1997 suburban

Having issues w truck lol. It starts fine when cold. If you shut it off n it sits for 2-3 hours its fine to restart. Sometimes even after half hour. Or like today... the wife took kids to counseling. Sat for three hours. Started fine. Went to bbops and was here 45 minutes. Wont fire now. So im here with it for next hour hoping it starts.

most of the time, if it sits for atlesst an hour, it fires up fine. Then if its at home i can turn it on and off usually with no issues. The fuel pump was changed 6 months ago and it has 246,000 miles. Any ideas would be helpful as how to fix.

Can email at jonwilzon@yahoo.com

its running at normal RPMS usually 1500 to 2000 in low mph and then 2300 to 2500 on interstate. i let it sit for hour and half and fired back up. now it will do this fine for a few days then will happen again.

I was asking the idle rpm, that might help with determining the fuel issue.
