I have a 94 1500 4wd and recently noticed a whining coming from the transmission the best i can tell. It only starts after i have driven for a few miles and the engine gets warm. It does it while driving and the noise increases with accelaration, but it also continues when in park and idling. What has me puzzled is i can turn the truck off and restart and its gone again until i drive a few miles. It has slipped very slightly twice which led me to believe it was transmission but the fact that the noise is not permanent gives me hope its maybe a sensor. Anyone experience this kind of problem before? Thanks for any hel
