Default k5 with 8" lift and 38's

hey im new here...i just got this blue 91 k5. its got 38 inch swamps on it and stock gears so it moves slow as hell and im getting about 7 mpg on the highway going about 65mph

well thats not cool so i wanna get new gears...

hows 4.56 sound? i do a lot of highway driving with it...about 50 miles round trip when i do drive it. obviously im not expecting it get great mileage but if i could somehow get it to atleast 12 on the highway i would be very pleased...and anything in excess of 12 i would love as well if it meant a different ratio. i just dont know much about gearing...

if i could get some input i would really appreciate it.

thanks a lot!

4.45 seems high for 35's, or atleast its uncommon from what ive been able to find...do you use yours for pretty much city and mud? im really concerned about highway because although 38 inch swamps isnt ideal i want to see what i can get with an ideal setup.

btw that thing looks sweet! i want to put some pics of mine up if i can figure it out
