Default HOW TO: Radio Removal 05-09 Cobalt

Using plastic pry tools, pry the trim from above the glove compartment. There are just some clips in there.

pry down the top right corner of the drivers knee bolster and pry out the small piece of trim behind the key, then pry the trim around the radio. Again its all clipped in
The radio has 4 7mm bolts holding it in.

Default HOW TO Radio Removal 05 09 Cobalt

Looks Great There is a different procedure on removing the radio for 95-97, and I will take pics of pulling my radio out again, and send you the links. then you can add them into your how-to

hey Shawnvm,

new to the forum. Do you know where I can find specification for delco factory radio for 09 cobalt SS? I want to replace the speakers in the stock pioneer audio with aftermarket infinities, but was wondering about the amp output of the factory headunit? Also where can i find info on whether it is possible to add external amp connection to factory system?

thanks
