Default 2" Leveling Kit - 07 Tahoe 4x4

I'm thinking about buying a kit from Fabtech. Has anyone installed a leveling kit? If so, is there anything I need to know, good or bad?

Thanks in advance.

Frisco,

I put the Fabtech 2" leveling kit on my tahoe and it looks great. You can tell the difference, or at least I can. I have had no problems at all with the kit. I know that skyjacker, daystar, fabtech, and someone else makes the leveling kit for the 07 tahoe. I will post pics before and after later on.

Dark.

I have the 2" Daystar coil spacers for the front... I love them. I honestly think that that ride was improved some because of the way the Tahoe sits.... It is no longer nose down when driving into a bump ...so going over bump seems smoother since the front is level with the back.....

I also saw this on Ebay... any thoughts? There are some photos at the bottom of the the ebay page. I have never seen a 3" spacer lift or heard of the company...but I like the way the Avalanche sits and the meaty tires...

They seem to be ok, just make sure it is 3" not 2. Find out who the manufacturer is. Also it tells you that it will not work with the autoride system. Still working on the pics. By the way getting a exhaust system put in on Thurs. Will keep you updated. I did purchase a G-Tech SS it seems to work well. www.gtechpro.com Check it out and let me know what you think. I had reading of 311hp and 386ft/lbs torque pretty cool just waiting to get on a track or open strip.

DarkOne... Which exhaust system did you choose? After the leveler and the new tires are on, the exhaust is next. I'm also waiting on the Lockpick to arrive. The G-Tech SS is interesting. That may be a future buy for me.

I am getting a custom exhaust with a magna flow muffler and a magna flow black anodized tip. I opted for the custom job b/c it was cheaper than buying the system from a dealer. I am getting all installed and materials for 250. The G-tech Pro is cool. I just wanted to see what the performance stats were on my truck.. Did you get to check out the website? Here is the pic before still have to get the after. Probably tomorrow. The pics shows w/o the kit.

I'm thinking about going the custom exhaust route as well. Gibson exhaust, etc...

Sweet pic. Nice wheels and tires...

Thanks for the pics.

My leveling kit came in the mail on Friday... hope to have it installed this week. I also changed out the gold bowties to chrome, and will install the GM lockpick this week as well. Exhaust and tires are next...
