I have a 04 silveradp z71 that was wrecled in the front end, and totalled. A shop told me the froma is bent in the front, and it shifted the motor a few inches. The shop said they would fix it by pulling the engine and trans, getting a new engine cradle and putting the engine back in. They quoted me 5000 to fix it. I am a welder and am good at working with metal and fixing things myself. I want to fix it myself instead of spe ding 5000. After pulling the engine and trans, what parts would I need to fix the Frame? Should I buy a front section of frame and the engine cradle. I'm a little lost when it comes to things about a vehicles frame. Any help would be appreciated.
