My 2007 Tahoe 5.3 gets 12.9 mpg city and 18-19 highway. When I first got it, it was better. This is just the nature of the beast. If you want better mileage stay off the pedal some. Put the DIC on instant fuel economy and keep the number up as high as you can as often as you can.

I dont have the option. I just have the LT1 which only has a reset button for the odometer. It is a very basic truck.

Yep, if I drive like theres no tomorrow Ill get 7 MPG, on the other hand I will get and average of 14 with a 6.0. if I use it lightly. Its amazing that you can hurry like a bat out of hell and you only get there 5% or so faster. I am not saying you drive crazy, I just think too its just how you drive it.

Default MPG Loss

07 5.3 CC Z71 LTZ. Is there anything I can do about the MPG drop. Everything is clean - fuel filter, air filter, oil. Or is it just because of the ethanol?
