Question Code p0135 and p0155

Hello,
So, my check engine light came on and the code is p0135 and p0155.
I understand that this is a o2 sensor heater malfunction. Before I understood this, I replaced bank 1,sensor 1 and bank 2,sensor 1. Light went out for about 15 miles, then came back on. I figure it's a short somewhere in the harness.
Can anyone tell me how I figure out where the short is? Or what my next step is. Starting to think these things are way over engineered. What happened to the good old days when we didn't have to deal with all these sensors.
Thanks
