Thumbs down Speedometer

So I just got back from the Chevy dealership. My 2005 Silverado has 70,500 miles and the speedometer crashed.

Come to find out, I'm on the hook for $140 for labor and GM replaces the crappy part. The dealer said, they were doing me a favor and that they could have just let me pay for the whole thing. Can you believe it!!? Arrogant. I should be lucky to be allowed to purchase from GM--I know GM won't be doing me any favors in the future.

GM could have done me a favor by putting quality parts in my $20+ K truck instead of components that crap out after 70K miles.

Great policy, put in crappy parts and then hold the consumer financially responsible.

I'm looking at joining the multiple class action lawsuits--this settlement is unnacceptable.
