Default dynomax bullets

got a 2002 silverado with the 6.0 vortec. gonna redo my exhaust and im leaning toward the dynomax. I have two cats and i wanna run two bullets into a y pipe and then just streight out. my question is, are the bullets basically streight pipping my truck? from the overal design thats what i see and im wondering about my back pressure and HP. im leaving the cats on but wondering if thats enought back pressure? thanks

back preasure is an outdated term you need exhuast volacity which all depends on the size pipe your going to run
for instance ever seen water try to go through a hole to big or to small it doesnt flow right same with pipes and air the size needs to be just right
sence the 6.0 is dual in single out and you wana run bullets id say get 2.5 bullets to a single 3inch pipe to exit no bigger
also dynomax bullets are kninda like starights but not the same it has a perferated core with packing which belive it or not does make some "backpreasure"
they make bullets in 12 inches and 16 inches the shorter the louder the longer the deeper you wont be disapointed

my buddy just put dynomax bullets on his tahoe with the 5.7 vortec and it goes stock cats to bullets and 2.5" piping all the way back in true duals and it has a little bit of rasp to it at around 2000 rpm and alot at around 3500 but the truck just sounds mean with them on there. has a nice low growl to it and picks up throughout the rpms. overall i think they are worth the money

You should se a gain in HP i just replaced my old mufflers with magnaflow performance mufflers same straight through design and i dont have any issues with back pressure and i gained a little HP. i am also running 2.5 exhaust to the 14" mufflers if that helps. its not to loud just cruising but it sounds mean when you get on it hope this helps
