Question Engine tuning????

Anybody have any luck with increased MPG or performance with the Diablo sport tuner? looking to improve MPG and HP...?? Or any other brand tuner?
07 2500HD 4x4 Ext cab short bed New body style 6.0 Gas 3.73 gears 40,000 miles...

I don't believe you can find a definitive answer to that question. I have been trying to locate irrefutable proof on that issue myself.

I was ready to purchase one, not for better MPG or more HP, but to turn off AFM, which I believe causes problems with the engine and drives me crazy in local driving due to the fact it shifts into V4 at speeds to low for my liking. And Diablo was an inexpensive way to disable AFM; however, now there is a new device called the Range, that simply connects to the DLC connector and prevents the ECM for going into AFM mode. (They also have a unit that has the ECM turn on AFM more often and at lower speeds.)

I sure hope others will post on this with some good figures.

Get a custom tune. Cheaper than a diablo and can do way more than it can.
