Default leveling kit

i want to get a leveling kit for my truck, its an 04 chevy 2500hd 6.0L. any recommendations on which leveling kit to get or are they all really the same torsion keys? are they easy to install? my brother is a mechanic so hes got the tools, but hes never put one in before neither have i

All levelin kits are the same, from what I've read you can get some stock 1500 torsion keys and they'll lift your truck for a lot cheaper than a levelin kit will. That bein said, crank your stock keys first and see if they level your truck. Only time a levelin kit is needed is if your stock keys won't level the truck with the stock rear

the guy before my put air bags on the rear shocks so its up more than the stock rear

did you put it on yet? i just ordered mine yesterday, and have been watching videos of other people put the keys in and they had all sorts of problems with it

keys are easy to install, but they're also very dangerous if you're not very skilled at it. I rented a 7 ton 2 arm puller from oriellys and that did the job easily
