Default Mystery Lights in my Z71

Can anyone tell me what these lights are and how I might turn them on in my truck? I bought this 2005 Silverado Z71 recently used and it has these blue lights in the headlight area. I cannot find a way to turn them on anywhere in the truck. I assume they are aftermarket...but I am wondering if possibly they aren't, and either way, if anyone knows how to turn them on. Maybe where the fuse would be located for this area? Any thoughts at all? Thanks!

those look to be your DRL's or Daytime Running lights...

Take the parking brake off and see if they come on...

They didn't come on. but that would make sense...I have always wondered why everything I read suggests the existence of DRL's but I didn't have any. Maybe a fuse? Or bulbs?

try checking them with the lights off and the parking brake off.... I believe they turn off when the headlamps are on....

I'm not sure which fuse is them but it should be labeled, but yes the bulbs could be out...

Make sure the lamp switch is in the auto mode also as I think you can disable them by turning the lights to the off position, in auto mode and engine running parking, brake off

During daylight, turn the key on and put it in Drive, obviously make sure you're on level ground. they should come on, otherwise there's something wrong.
