P0449 vent valve
New to the forum and looking for some help. I have a 2004 GMC Sierra 4.3 V-6 with the P0449 code. Looking for the vent valve solenoid. Having a hard time finding the correct part number. Dealer wants $100 for part, so I know I can find it cheaper. Only part numbers I can find are for the V-8 models. Any help would be appreciated

You should search for an AC Delco #214-2081, or GM# 19152345. This is the latest version of the vent solenoid for your truck.
The original P/N was ACD 214-1091 or GM 15759044, but it was superceded by the above numbers, which are an updated part, a few years back.
