Speedo problem
i have a 2003 chevy silverado, 4 speed automatic with a 4.8 its a 2 wheel drive. my problem is over the last couple weeks my spedometer has been acting all crazy. i will be driving down the road going 60mps and when i slow down it would stay right around the speed i was going, like that is now 0mph. the only way i can find to reset it any is every time i start up my truck it will reset 5mph. at first i figured it was the speed sensor on the trans. i replaced that and it is still doing the same thing. can anyone please give me some ideas on what they think i should try to fix this.

RE: Speedo problem
It is more than likely a faulty gauge. It is a common problem for that model year. Good news, it is covered by GM for 7 years or 75,000 mile. Just take it to a dealer for a test. If it fails you get a new cluster free.Same thing happened to me in my 2003.
