Default bigger leafs

i have an 04 silverado 1500 and thinking about putting 3/4 ton leaf springs. anyone ever done this? what are the pros and cons to doing this? anyone not recommend this and for what reason? thanks in advance.sean

Before I say anything else, I can only offer you speculation.

I would think that adding 2500 leaf springs would give you a bit of a lift in the rear, but also a stiffer ride. You would be able to tow at a more level stance as well.
