2015 Audio Dissapointment
I really wish Chevrolet took audio performance seriously. The audio capabilities in my 2015 are substandard. I was looking forward to utilizing the SD card reader to load up music that is in a format better than mp3, specifically 96kHz, or even CD quality at 44.1Khz.
The CD player sounds great, but when I load up the music on on SD card and play via the MyLink system, the sound difference is very noticeable and not in the right direction. I'm guessing Chevrolet is not putting much effort into the Digital to Analog converter. It would be such an easy fix and a feature I'm sure would be enticing. Maybe not. Maybe music is not that much a draw, but to those of who pay attention, it would be a nice feature.
I guess there's always after market but then you void warranties.
Thanks for listening.

Welcome to the forum....
More often then not its about the feature and not performance, it all boils down to cost... its mass production bought from the lowest bidder...
