99 Suburban A/C Issue
Well to sum it up I just put in a new rebuilt motor and started having numerous issues that were not pre existing.
When the a/c is on the rear pass and driver sides blow cold (read 46 degrees) however the front is only reading 65 degrees. Freon level is good and system is freshly vaccuumed. I did rid the new motor of the mechanical fan and installed 2 16" electric fans. Thought maybe the fans were not cooling the freon in the condensor enough but that can't be because the rear is cold like it should be.
Have a mechanic friend and he said it is the temperature actuator. I have access to the alldata system and found a bulletin that it is a common problem. However it doesn't show where in the blazes it is located. HELP!!!!
I know it is in the dash somewhere but where?????????
