Default Knock sensor or something else

I have an 05 suburban 1500 5.3 flex fuel z71 that started acting like it’s starving for fuel when I give it gas, very abrupt jerking motion. It’s not the transmission because it does it in neutral. The only codes it has is a knock sensor and I think the egr for vacuum leak, both of these have been there for a while, years, but this symptom is new.

It’s not the coils, plugs, injectors, throttle position sensor, or maf.

Can the knock sensor failing cause this issue or am I missing something else? Disconnecting the fuel pump fuse let’s it die slowly. It’s so quick of an on off I’m not sure what it can be. It idles fine.

I’m trying not to change the fuel pump or knock sensor just to find out it’s something else. Unplugging the knock sensor doesn’t change how it idles, nor does the jerking go away or get worse which my best guess. Just curious if anyone else has experienced that symptom.

Many thanks
