I replaced my dual Yellow tops, which were still good going on 7 years (but one developed a crack in the casing near the neg. terminal), with dual Oddyssey batts. I'll report back if there are any issues.

Thats odd that BOTH batts went bad for you. Hopefully the new ones work out better, or maybe I should hope for you that they fail again near the 24 month replacement deadline. lol! Get new batts nearly every two years for life! =)

In Alberta batteries last forever....haven't bought one for my car in 10 plus years....my wife not so much...she likes to leave her headlights on during the coldest winter nights.

In the jungle heat in gridlocked Miami 4 years is generally the limit for me on any vehicle when it comes to batteries.
