Self leveling system
Is there any way to test the self leveling system to make sure its working right. I have a 2002 Tahoe I picked up about 3 months ago. Since then I've never heard the air pump kick on. The manual says you have to be driving down the road before it activates.....a little different than the Montana my wife has. It also has the autoride. My wife says riding in the vehicle bothers her stomach because of the floating action you get when driving down the road. I guess I'm just not accustom to whats normal and whats not normal. Could the autoride feature fail? Any suggestions?

RE: Self leveling system
Already done that. I hooked up our 24 foot travel trailer and had no response while standing there. I didn't drive the trailer down the road to see what happened yet.

The self leveling on the 07 tahoe, starts when you start the car. I can hear the pump. You may want someone to start the car with you outside. My pump is located in the rear passenger side. It may be different from yours, find out where your pump is and see if you can hear it then.

Yeah, DarkOne is right on with that. There should be a valve behind the rear wheel, you can see the actual "sac", and you should be able to let the air out of it. Once you start the car, it should start pumping itself up.
