Default Clicking Idle Air Control Valve and Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve with engine off

I was hoping that someone could help. I have a 2003 Chevrolet Tracker 4WD with the 4 cylinder engine. Recently, my alternator went out (3rd time) over 125,000 miles. I replaced the alternator (under warranty) and battery as well since it was on its last legs and was 6+ years old. When the alternator finally died, the engine was idling at about 2,000 RPM as it took the last of the battery. Now the IAC valve and EGR valve will sometimes click when the engine is turned off. They will continue to click until the battery is bad unless I disconnect them. Sometimes they won't click but it is about a 50/50 chance. I did hear one relay near the clutch make a noise but I haven't been able to find out which relay it was.

This vehicle is in great shape and the engine runs perfectly.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Cameron
